"Hey
it's Lisa-Marie here mommy. Why did you have to leave?" I asked,
holding my shotgun at my friend's headstone placed on my parents
memorial site. I held my hand to my face, trembling. Yet my tears
gradually melted away. I wanted to be happy they were together.
I
loaded my shotgun, got myself a Guillotine Gun. I wanted to see the
Seatak gang fall. They killed my mothers and aunt. "I have 'The
Aimer' with me now."
"Are
you ready to go Lisa? We have heads to sever." Ursula said, she
was the cousin of Anna-Marie.
"Let's
take down some imperialist scum."
I
wanted to make the lakes no longer dirty and filthy, polluted with
the bloods of innocents along the shore of the distant technological
future. I wanted a better future, a new hope. So there is never a
dead Hemato and Anna again.
It's
time to return the favor for saving me. I wanted to save people's
lives. Look I know mom didn't believe in capital punishment.
But
this is self-defense!
"Cinderella
wears pants!" I said, hiding my face from Anna's cousin.
"Please, don't feel like a failure anymore mommy. You did what
you could for Anna. 'The Aimer' tells me so. I want to see you
smile."
For
the first time, I felt like crying. Yet it was different tears.
It
was tears outside of my own abuse. Anna's cousin holds me, kisses my
forehead. We exchange kisses under the city lights.
The
moon is huge tonight.
